Product Description
This ASME B 18.2.4.1M Hex Nut recognized as American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Standard. Metric Hex Nuts made of standard and high-quality raw material with metric thread that provides a strong and secure connection. ASME B18.2.4.1M Metric Hex Nuts is six-sided internally threaded fasteners perfectly meet standard hex nut and most commonly used for medium to heavy-duty application. ASME B18.2.4.1M have a plain and smooth bearing surface with commercial tolerance. ASME B18.2.4.1M made of different grade of steel, stainless steel and other corrosion-resistant material to make it suitable for the most fastening application. It is hexagonal in shape and chamfered at corner allow tightened through spanner or wrench, once they fit perfectly, they resist loosening from counter-clockwise motion.

①,When M10 nuts are ordered, nuts with 16 mm width across flats shall be funished, unless 15 mm width across flats is specified.
②,M16 and smaller nuts shall be double chamfered. M20 and larger nuts, at the manufacturer's option, shall be either double chamfered or have a washer faced bearing surface and a chamfered top.
